Community Impact

Put retired technology to work for a greater purpose.

EcoVault's Technology Donation Program helps match corporate donors with eligible nonprofit organizations seeking useful equipment. The program creates a responsible reuse pathway that can expand community access to technology while helping donors document meaningful social impact.

A needs-based match

EcoVault works to understand the recipient organization's mission, equipment needs, technical requirements, and ability to use the assets responsibly. Eligible, functional equipment is matched only when it is appropriate for the recipient and approved for donation by the corporate donor.

Data protection before donation

Donation never bypasses security. Data-bearing equipment follows the approved inventory, custody, sanitization, testing, and documentation requirements before it is released for reuse. Equipment that cannot meet the approved security or functional standard follows another responsible disposition pathway.

Support for corporate donors

Donors can extend the useful life of equipment, advance community programs, and document reuse and social-impact outcomes. With the informed permission of everyone involved, EcoVault can also help develop appropriate recognition or impact-story opportunities without exposing confidential project information.

Support for nonprofit recipients

Participating nonprofit organizations may gain access to practical technology that supports education, workforce development, community services, operations, research, or other mission-driven work. Availability depends on donated inventory, condition, configuration, and program fit.

Donation records and tax considerations

When a donation is accepted by an eligible qualified nonprofit, that organization may provide the acknowledgment required for the donor's records. Any charitable deduction, valuation, documentation requirement, and tax treatment depends on applicable law and the donor's individual circumstances; donors should consult their tax adviser. EcoVault does not provide tax or legal advice.

Become a donor or recipient

Corporate teams with reusable technology and nonprofit organizations with defined equipment needs are invited to contact EcoVault. We will review eligibility, security requirements, available inventory, logistics, documentation, and whether an appropriate match is available.
